Weekly programming

Manitoulin Morning with KT and Stompin' Shawn live on the air from 6:00am to 10:00am Monday to Friday bringing you local news updates, local community events, local sports along with some country humor; and of course, some great hot new country! A must listen to show you don't ever want to miss.

Stay tuned daily at 9:40am and 6:30pm (Monday to Friday) for KT's Feature Artist of the Week.  KT plays an daily excerpt of her chat with a hot new country music artist together with one of their tunes.  Stay tuned on Sunday of that week at 1:00pm for the interview in full together with all five songs.

Smooth Ride with Big Mike Abel, boy from the middle of nowhere and also from everywhere. Big Mike brings you the updates on all events from around the Island and elsewhere. On the air Tuesdays to Fridays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, you never know what Big Mike is going to say next so stay tuned to the Smooth Ride and be entertained for a solid two hours.

Nightly volunteer shows are brought to you by our dedicated volunteers from all over Manitoulin. If it wasn't for the volunteers that do their individual shows then this station would not be the community based station that it is.

Monday - Friday

Mondays

Hockey Night with Reggie.  KT from Manitoulin Morning hosts coach of the Manitoulin Islanders, Reggie Leach from 7:00pm until 7:30pm.  Reggie, the Riverton Rifle, former Philadelphia Flyer and Conn Smythe Trophy joins KT to talk hockey on Manitoulin and the North Shore, regional hockey and the goings on in the NHL.  Have a question for Reggie?  Feel free to call at (705) 368-1419. Join Gloria Hansen with Bluegrass Revival from 8:00pm until 9:00pm every Monday as Gloria brings the bluegrass sounds alive.    

Tuesdays

Greg the Goose and the Pleasant Pheasant bring you local flavour with "Aboriginal Music". Goose and Pheasant host local guests with their success stories as well as music created by Aboriginal people. A must listen to on all radios and computers so tune in between 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Wednesdays

Cuzin Pete brings you the classics of Country music between 7:00pm and 9:00pm. This is an all request show, so call in to (705) 368-1997 and request your favorite classic music and take a walk down memory lane with Cuzin Pete on 100.7FM.

Thursdays

Thursdays begin right from 7:00 – 8:00pm with Let’s Live It Up hosts  Tammy Albers and Joyce Holmes who chat with interesting guests of the happenings in and around Manitoulin. You never know from one week to the other what interesting topics Tammy and Joyce have in store. It’s an hour of chat that just can't be missed.  

Sundays

Every Sunday from 8:00am until 9:00am is Brother John's Bluegrass Gospel Hour.  If you love bluegrass you'll definitely not want to miss this one - great bluegrass with a gospel feel. 

Every Sunday at 1:00pm is our feature Artist of the Week.  KT interviews various country artists which are featured weekly.  Stay tuned on Sunday at 1:00pm for the interview in full together with 5 great songs by that artist.  

Two hours of Country Classics comes to you with Cuzin Pete between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Cuzin Pete takes over the airwaves for a second time to bring you more great country classics. This two hour time slot is dedicated to requests so get ready to make your call to Cuzin Pete at (705) 368-1997 to request your favorite song on 100.7 The Island.
